Meeting Minutes (attached) and Parking Enforcement
August 1, 2023
Parking Policy Amendment Update. Since our last HOA meeting, there have been communications with our legal counsel regarding the Parking Policy. They have reviewed the policy and have informed us that the policy can be enforced. However, they have also advised us that in order to fully enforce the policy, several documents such as By-Laws, Declaration etc., would also have to be updated or revised to incorporate and include the Parking Policy Amendment. As mentioned at our last meeting, there are a significant number of homeowners with outstanding association dues. The bank account must always have a reserve to cover lighting, landscaping, snow removal and insurance. Moving forward with revising the By-Laws and Declaration would be an expensive financial hit. Even though most of the homeowners requested and were in favor of this change; the Board has decided that this would not be the best way to spend your money which would cause the account to absorb immediately. Signage regarding parking/towing will be removed and towing, of course, will not occur. Having made this decision, it is the Board’s sincere hope that all homeowners can work together to correct whatever parking issues in your immediate area. We are all neighbors and need to respect each other’s property and well-being.
